Don’t forget membership dues are due prior to Jan. 1, 2023, to take advantage of the renewal discount and ensure you receive the next issue of the Kewpiesta Kourier. Dues are payable annually by January 1: $30 Individual; $35 Family (‘Family’ is defined as members of the same family living at the same address including children up to 18 years of age). Dues annually paid after January 1: $40 Individual; $45 Family.

Another honor for Rose O’Neill as a cartoonist: Comic-Con International inducted Rose into the Will Eisner Comic Awards Hall of Fame for 2022 at its recent convention. The presentation recognizes Rose’s four-panel comic strip featured in the Sept. 19, 1896, issue of Truth magazine making her the first American woman to publish a comic strip.

June was one of the IROCF pioneers always researching, promoting, and sharing her discoveries and knowledge of Rose O’Neill, her life, and her works. Her legacy of research and documentation serves as a cornerstone for collectors.
